Accentuate Write – Writer’s Forum
Free job boards, contest listings, both non-fiction and fiction writing boards, and a totally friendly, helpful atmosphere!
When the sheer number of articles you have to write in one day adds up, you might feel overwhelmed. That feeling often translates into procrastination and delay. And then you end up getting nothing done at all!
I’ve discovered a fun little program call Write or Die which can help solve this problem. It’s free and funny… but with a dark side.
The guy who developed it, one Dr. Wicked, must know about the problem with getting stuff done in a timely manner. The program forces you to write – either a certain number of words or for a certain time period – or else!
Or else? What can a computer program do to you if you don’t write?
Well, at first, it just changes the background color of the screen: a gentle reminder to get back on task. If that doesn’t work, it begins to play some highly-repetitive music. The only way to make it stop is to begin writing again.
On Evil mode, if you don’t start typing again quick enough, it begins to delete your words!
Now that is some serious motivation to keep going.
Check out Write or Die and tell me what you think.
Many webmasters have heard of writing and using ebooks as a type of online marketing campaign. However, with the rise in popularity of print on demand publishing, it is possible for them to also offer a print book to their visitors. Many people enjoy reading from a physical book more than a computer screen. Publishing a print on demand book can be a great move for webmasters on the internet.
What is Print on Demand Publishing?
Print on demand publishing is often used interchangeably with vanity publishing or self-publishing. In print on demand publishing, the publishing company is essentially in charge of printing your book and distributing it to whoever buys it. There is often no charge unless the book is actually bought. There are no minimum print runs or purchase requirements. Many print on demand publishing houses also offer ebook options to their writers.
As apposed to traditional publishing, in which a writer must find an agent of publisher, print on demand books can be created by anyone. There is no submission or acceptance process. There is no chance of rejection.
Freelance writers should be always on the look out for quality online writing jobs. While many sites that list these jobs charge a subscription or one-time fee to view the listings, there are places to find free online writing jobs.
One such place – and the BEST place – is Accentuate Service’s Writers’ Forum.
This writer’s forum, as well as being run by the most helpful person ever, Michelle L. Devon, has two whole sections dedicated to free online writing jobs. You can find nonfiction article writing jobs, web content, journal articles, and ezine jobs as well as markets for fiction writing. They are updated regularly.
Besides the many free online writing jobs you’ll find their, the Accentuate writers forum is a nonjudgmental, helpful place to get help with your writing, share the joys of publication, and commiserate with others over every writers experience of rejection.
I am not in the perfect article writing mood right now. Nope. However, since I have been TRYING to write one free article here on Associated Content every day (and failing miserably by the way), I figured I better sit down and just write.

How you create the perfect article writing mood is completely up to you. Some have elaborate rituals involving the lining up of notebooks, pens, and sticky notes filled with researched facts and figures. Others take a more spiritual approach and do some yoga-like stretching or try an article writing prayer. Still others get in the mood with a strong cup of coffee, a cigarette, or a glass of wine. For some, the mood just hits them.
